Nick Merry Joins Durell as Strategy and Development Director

We’re pleased to announce that Nick Merry has joined Durell as our new Strategy and Development Director.

Nick brings more than 20 years of experience across SaaS, product leadership, marketing, consulting, and commercial strategy. His appointment strengthens Durell’s leadership team as we continue to scale our products and partnerships.

Most recently, Nick served as Product Director & BoomBoard CEO at Data Cubed. There, he led the go-to-market strategy for a spin-out SaaS platform. He also worked closely with organisations to identify commercial opportunities driven by data and emerging AI technologies. His focus was on turning data capability into clear strategic direction and measurable outcomes.

Before that, Nick was Managing Director at Screen Time Labs. During his time there, he scaled the SaaS B2C business from £50k MRR to £500k MRR. The company achieved a successful exit. Nick held full P&L responsibility and led global cross-functional teams. He also oversaw product development across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

Earlier in his career, Nick held senior marketing and leadership roles at Good Energy, Nestlé, and HSBC. These roles gave him deep experience in brand strategy, customer experience, digital transformation, and commercial growth.

At Durell, Nick will focus on shaping long-term strategy and supporting product evolution. He will also help strengthen how we bring innovation to market. His experience across SaaS growth, AI opportunity, and commercial leadership will support Durell’s next phase of development.
