Training

Although any Durell system is easy to use and comes with a free online manual we do recommend you invest in training in order to get the best from your system. Designed to be flexible, all training options cover topics requested by you and we can provide CPD certificates following the course. Unlike our competitors our full day is from 9am until 5pm, we include all subsistence in our costs and there are no cancellation charges to pay.

We offer the following methods of training:

Training on-site at your offices. This is a full day from 9am until 5pm and any number of people can attend. Cost is £600+VAT (this includes for subsistence).

Training at Durell’s offices in Taunton. This can either be for a full or half day. The costs are £400+VAT for full day (9am until 5pm), or £225+VAT for half a day. The half day is 4 hours, and the start and finish times can be chosen by you (e.g. 11am until 3pm). A maximum of four people can attend.

Online training is £50+VAT per hour, and is charged by the hour or part of the hour. You are only charged for the time used, regardless of the time booked, with a minimum of one hour. For example if a 2 hour slot is booked, but only 1.5 hours is needed, then the charge will be for 1.5 hours.


Although our training is optional, for new users we would recommend:

Larger sites – At least one day of training, either onsite or at our offices, followed by online training for individuals to cover specific topics in depth e.g. accounts, customising factfinds etc

Single users – One or more hours online training which can be held on separate days as needed, e.g. one hours training every week for three weeks.
