Set-up, Logo

You can change Durell’s Main Menu screen so that it either displays some text, or your own company’s logo (or any other picture), instead of the Durell logo…

• Click the “Use picture” tick box (tick = use picture, no tick = use text)
• If using a text title edit the “Title text” field (e.g. from “Durell” to “Happy Brokers”)
• If using a picture click the “Browse” button to locate your bitmap (e.g. C:\Windows\Clouds.bmp)
• Optionally tick the box to make your choice common to all users
• Click the “OK” button
• Return to your Main Menu screen to see your changes

Note that the best type of picture to use is a “bitmap” (i.e. with the file suffix “.BMP”) around 250 pixels wide by 110 pixels high. However Durell will display most image formats (e.g. with the file suffix “.JPG” or “.JPEG”) and if the size is different Durell will do its best to display it regardless. If you don’t have a scanner and/or don’t know how to create a bitmap of your company’s logo you should contact your local computer dealer or Durell’s support team. If sent it through the post, Durell will scan your logo into a suitable bitmap file and return it on floppy disk for around £25+VAT.
