Set-up, Claim Stages

This is only applicable to General Insurance. It allows you to pre-define the list of progress stages in the “Claims” section of “General Broker”. To set-up claim stages, starting from Durell’s Main Menu…

• Click the “Setup” button
• In the list on the right of the screen, double-click “Claim stages”

• Use the “Stage” drop-down to check your current list
• To enter a new stage, type the description (e.g. “Awaiting claims form”) then click “Add”
• To edit an existing stage, type over the current description then click “Change”
• To delete an existing stage, click the current description then click “Delete”
• To assign a colour to a stage click and thereby tick the “Use Colour” tick box. Click the “Change” button and select a colour for that Claim Stage.
• Click “Close” when done
