Set-up, Accident Types

This is only applicable to General Insurance. It allows you to pre-define the list of accident types in the “Claims” section of “General Broker”. To set-up accident types, starting from Durell’s Main Menu…

• Click the “Setup” button
• In the list on the right of the screen, double-click “Accident types”

• Use the “Insurance type” drop-down to select the type of insurance
• Use the “Accident type” drop-down to check your current list
• To enter a new type, type the description (e.g. “Explosion”) then click “Add”
• To edit an existing type, type over the current description then click “Change”
• To delete an existing type, click the current description then click “Delete”
• Click “Close” when done
