Reports, Client, Client & Policy Notes

The standard report will display the selected client and policy “Note Lines”, which is particularly useful for checking outstanding actions…

·        Use the “Set” dropdown to select the address set (e.g. “Clients, Individual”, as shown above), then…

o       EITHER use the search buttons to select a single client (or other address set record)

o       OR click the tick-box to “Select all clients in set”

o       OR click the tick-box to “Select all clients in all address sets”

·        Use the “Adviser” dropdown to restrict the list to just those clients or policies linked to a single adviser (e.g. “JP – Jane Potter”)

·        Optionally tick the option to group the listing by client, rather than just in date order

·        Optionally enter “From” and “To” dates to limit the selected list of notes accordingly (two blank dates result in all, a blank to a date results in all up to the date, etc)

·        Optionally click the tick-boxes to include just client notes, just policy ones, or both

·        Optionally click the tick-boxes to include completed, incomplete and overdue notes (i.e. “overdue” is where today’s date is greater than the note’s “complete by” field)

·        If you ticked “Include overdue notes” then optionally set the date by which they should have been completed

·        Use the “Include notes with standard actions” to restrict the list to just “1st appointments”, etc

·        Use the “Include notes created by” to restrict the list to just those clients or policies entered by a given user (e.g. “FAY”)

·        Use the “Save” and “Load” buttons to save and subsequently recall your selections

·        Click “Print” to proceed, and you should see a report like that below

·        Click the “Printer” icon at the top left of the report to get a hard copy.
