Provided you have purchased a Durell web-link licence, and have setup the link to your own website, you can then choose to send fact finds to be entered, updated or just displayed from there. To do so you simply click the “Show online setup” button, then select the layout to be sent to the website, as shown below (n.b. The words on the “online setup” button toggle between “Show online setup” and “Hide online setup”)...

You’ll then be prompted either to send up the current editable fact find, or to select an un-editable historic one just for viewing, as shown below.

Please note the following points re on-line fact finds and the Durell web-link...
· When you send a fact find to your web-link the system automatically saves a copy (i.e. as an historic one) so that you don’t have to worry about the one on your web site getting lost or damaged.
· Once a fact find has been selected to go online you can no longer edit the local version.
· The web-link options you select do not take place immediately. They activate when your web-link is next refreshed (see also “Set-up Web-link”).
· The “Layout currently online” and “Version currently online” information boxes at the bottom right of the pop-up will not match your online selections until the web-link has been refreshed.
·
To stop a fact find being online simply set
the “Layout to use online” dropdown to “Do not use online”.
· After selecting “Do not use online” the fact find will still remain online (and still be un-editable locally) until the next web-link refresh cycle.
· While a client is selected for the web-link (n.b. which may be for the fact find, or some other reason, such as to display his investment valuation) then a “world” icon will appear to the right of his search name.
· When a client’s fact find is selected for the web-link, as described above, the system automatically ticks that client’s “Allow online service” box on the “Setup Web-Link” screen, shown below (i.e. so if you’re using the web-link just for fact finds you do not need to manually change any settings on the “Setup Web-Link” screen).
