Complaints, Edit (Progress to Completion)

 

To update an existing complaint, starting from the scrolling view of all complaints…

·        Double-click it, or highlight it then click the white “Spectacles” button

·        Change its stage, as required (the “Stage date” will automatically update itself as you do so)

·        Edit the “Complete stage by” date and time

·        Add to the “Complaint details”, preferably in paragraphs that relate to each stage

·        As applicable, add the date when your professional indemnity insurer was advised of the complaint

·        Click “OK”

 

 

On completion, if the complaint is valid you should click the “Complaint upheld” box and, if applicable, enter a sum in the “Compensation” box, then click “OK” to save.
