Durell’s Web-Link
Module
The standard setup described below is for users who want the standard web link module hosted on our own secure web server which can then be linked to from the user’s own website.
For non-standard setups, such as using the web link to connect to data collected by pages hosted on a different web server, please contact Durell on 01823-326324
Required Information
All of these details will be supplied by Durell once you are licensed to use the Web-Link module, please contact us on 01823-326324 for more information.

Installation
S [zero] lut [one] [zero] n [five]
Copy and paste the file onlineservices.zip into your Durell data folder (e.g. S:\Imw-Data\) and unzip it there to create an onlineservices folder (e.g. S:\Imw-data\onlineservices)
2. Register the two ocx and dll files on the server, as follows (and illustrated below)...
· Click the “Start” button
· Select “Run”
· Enter “regsvr32.exe F:\imw-amos\onlineservices\DurellLogging.dll” and click “OK”
· Enter “regsvr32.exe F:\imw-amos\onlineservices\EdLoader.ocx” and click “OK”

1. Back in the \onlineservices folder double-click the application “Weblink Initial Setup.exe”...
· Confirm that you want to run the installation
· Enter a time when the automatic web link data exchange should run. Typically this will be sometime during the night before or after your backup routine (e.g. 3:00 with a colon in the middle)...

· On the following screen, shown below, click on each line in turn and enter the correct values at the bottom left of the screen. Note that the “Company Name”, URL and Password will require the values as given to you by Durell, while the three paths all need to be changed to the location of your Durell data (e.g. to S:\Imw-Data\ or “F:\Imw-Amos\ etc). When done click “File / Save” then “File / Exit”.

2. To perform a test run of the web link update go to your \onlineservices\ folder and double-click the “Weblink Update” shortcut.
3. Check your scheduled tasks. If the Weblink shortcut does not appear in them then add it at an appropriate time.
